PropelPLM ("Propel" or "PropelPLM") values your business and respect your privacy. Because we gather important information from visitors to the PropelPLM.com website (the "Site") and users of Propel Application (the "App" or "Applications"), we have established this privacy statement ("Statement") to communicate our information gathering and dissemination practices.
In order to access certain content on the Site, you will be required to register by providing certain limited information regarding you, the company you represent, and your contact information.
Propel uses common internet technologies, such as cookies and web beacons, to keep track of interactions with the company’s websites, emails, and applications.
Cookies from Google Analytics and other third-party systems allow us to see information on website activities including, but not limited to page views, source, and time spent on our website and application. The information is depersonalized and is displayed as numbers, meaning it cannot be tracked back to individuals. Using third-party systems we can see what content, feature, and capability is popular on our website and application, and this helps us to know what content and services we should provide and improve for our visitors and viewers.
We use code from third-party systems to see which pages helped lead our site visitors to fill out forms on our website. This allows us to make better use of our paid search budget. We use remarketing codes to log when visitors view specific pages, allowing us to provide targeted advertising in the future.
When you interact with our Site and Applications, we strive to make that experience easy and meaningful. Our Web server may send a cookie to the computer of our Site visitors and App users. Cookies are files that Web browsers place on a computer's hard drive and are used to tell us whether customers and visitors have visited the Site previously. Standing alone, cookies do not identify you personally. They merely recognize your browser. Unless you choose to identify yourself to Propel, either by requesting a download or registering for a demo or webinar or becoming a user for the Propel Application, you remain anonymous to Propel. If you choose not to accept cookies from the domain "PropelPLM.com", you will still be able to access the entire Site, however you will be required to re-register each time you would like to access those portions of the Site that require registration. When we send messages to you or others, we may provide a link that contains an identifier, which allows us to identify the person to whom we sent the message, record whether the email has been open and set a cookie so we can link non-personal data to their email address. We do this in order to tailor our communication for that individual.
Use of Information
Propel uses the information collected to improve the Site and the Application design and its user experience.
Propel may use the information that we collect to contact visitors to further discuss their interest in our company and the services and products we provide and to send information regarding our company, service and product offerings, such as newsletters and webinar announcements. Visitor email addresses and any personal customer information will not be distributed or shared with any third parties in any circumstance. Customers can opt out of being contacted by us, or receiving such information from us, at any time by sending an email to info@propelPLM.com.
We may use visitor's IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the Site, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. Propel occasionally matches these IP addresses to publicly available company IP registries, and Propel may contact visiting companies to discuss potential interest in our company. IP addresses that we collect are not linked to personally identifiable information.
