Create List Views to Find Items or Changes

This article describes how to Create List Views to manage which fields are visible when finding Items, Item Revisions or Changes.

In Salesforce Classic

Go to Items or Changes tab
Click Create New View

Enter View Name

Filter by All Items or My Items (Items you created or edited)

  • Use Filter Criteria to generate result for specific type of Item. Example: "Category", "equals" , "Connector"

Tip 1: You can use comma "," to separate multiple values. For example, "Connector, Capacitor". This gives you Items from both Connector category and Capacitor category.

Tip 2: To change the filter logic from "AND" to "OR", click "Add Filter Logic" link to extend the function.

Select fields from "Available Fields" and add to "Selected Fields". The limit of the number of fields a list view can have is 15.

Choose Visibility option. The ability to share list views with users or groups is controlled by the profile you have been assigned. For example, a System Administrator has permission to share list views with users; whereas a Standard Platform User does not. The checkbox which controls the sharing access is the Manage Public List Views.

   Click Save

In Salesforce Lightning
